Paper(less) Tiger


"The making of the character was sketched out then recreated in TAB.Once approved the character was cut up into segments to limit the amount of drawing.
The drawings were then cleaned up and coloured. Then they were all linked together."

"The Audio files were imported and the mouth shapes were created. The lip sync was then done. The reason for this was to create ideas as to what the character might do when saying certain things."

 


"The basic keyframe was then created for the timing. Once this was all done extra drawings were created for the animation of arms, legs, eyes, tail to make the character come to life. This was done so no unnecessary drawings were created."

"The top (or intro) to the AD was done first. Once the client was happy with this, the other animation was created in the same file separated by a few frames. This meant if we decided to change one drawing the whole project would update.Once all the animation was complete and approved they were rendered out to QuickTime and sent on a CD-ROM to the production facility to combine with the rest of the commercial."
